My Commitment to Social Justice

Sliding Scale for Marginalized Identities

Marginalized identities include those who are Queer, not Christian, BBIPOC, women, transgender, physically/emotionally “disabled” or differently abled, and those who are of a lower economic status.

Sliding scale for those who hold one marginalized identity: $100-$175

Sliding scale for those who hold two or more marginalized identities: $50-$175

I am only able to hold a few sliding scale spots— please inquire specifically about a sliding scale spot. Note that if you hold marginalized identities and you can pay the full fee comfortably it opens up a sliding scale spot for someone who needs it.

I am firmly committed to personal, professional, and community anti-racism work, the decolonization of self and counseling, and to deeply respecting the rights and humanity of those who hold marginalized identities.

While I have experience working with people that hold various marginalized identities, I personally identify as a cis hetero white woman and acknowledge that I have inherent biases that may effect our work together.

Should harm take place, I am fully committed to a restorative justice process. Essentially, understanding how I have impacted you and taking accountability for my actions.

My aim is to uphold the voices of the most marginalized in the room at all times.

You’re welcome to ask me more about my stance, how I am involved in anti-racism work, and the restorative justice process.

I also want to acknowledge that my home and office are on the land of the Pawtucket people. For a map of indigenous lands, you can visit: https://www.native-land.ca.

May we continue to be in deep learning within and together.

Creation of Sliding Scale

The creation of my sliding scale takes into account government data regarding gender and racial pay gaps. It also takes into account qualitative data surrounding workplace discrimination regarding those who hold other marginalized identities including religions and sexuality.
